The JstylesM Community 🩷

I am working on my Fashion Essentials Certificate from Parson. In one of my assignments, I’m asked to look into information you about this wonderful community and who has been following along with me here. I actually look at data quite often because I like to make sure what I’m putting out, you’re picking up! I started socials to connect with other women and share my creative style! Currently Instagram is my main social platform. I have 4.5k followers, varying from all over the world. My main demographic is New Yorkers, which is appropriate since that is where I am based! My age group is my primary demographic (35-44), I share many similarities with my followers. Itsinteresting because the 2nd top group location wise, is Los Angeles. Only 66% of my community is from the United States with 2.7% from United Kingdom, and the rest scattered from various countries around the world. I find this fascinating. I follow fashion accounts from all over the world, so I love that my community compliments that. My top posts are my collages, my reels and photos of myself tend to not do as well as my collages.

Thursdays and Fridays have the lowest level of engagement and activity from my group of followers. Each day of the week 12-3pm are the top times where users are interacting with content. I try to anchor my posts these times of the day for that purpose.

I also find it interesting that some of my favorite trendy looks that I have put together have received the most reach, just goes to show that if you stay authentic to your brand it goes a long way!
